Student-Faculty Collaborative Research to be highlighted
Catholic Central HS to hold Symposium at Van Andel Institute, May 19

For the past two years, seven high school students have been experiencing the world of scientific research through an innovative program at Catholic Central High School. As participants in the high school’s science research program, the students have been working on original research from the study of meteorites and how beans affect colon cancer to mood disorders and autism under the mentorship of a professional scientist. Cathedral Square project nearing completion

The upper deck of the parking ramp is completed and ready for use; exterior brick work on the Diocesan Pastoral Center completed; and interior dry wall is being hung, finished, and painted. Advance Commitment gatherings are being held throughout the diocese with more scheduled. At the gatherings, guests are provided updates on the Cathedral Square project and given opportunities to support.
