Holy Father's encyclical "Love in Truth" to be released July 7
In Love and Truth (Caritas in Veritate), which was signed on June 29 and will be released on July 7, Pope Benedict XVI shares his thoughts on social justice. The Holy Father's third encyclical reminds us of the importance of recognizing the social and economic needs of all people. He affirms that the efforts to improve the condition of humanity must continue. More

Holy Father establishes "Year for Priests"
Nine additional parishes reach, exceed CSA goals!

As of June 25, parishes
reported gifts (pledges) of $4,147,253 or 87% of the
$4.7 million CSA goal. Congratulations to the 42 parishes
that have reached or exceeded their goals. The list
is scrolling below.
In a letter to parishioners on June 22, Bishop Hurley expressed his gratitude for the generous support of the CSA.
