** In the United States the percept to attend Mass is abrogated whenever the Solemnity of Mary, the Assumption or All Saints Day falls on a Saturday or a Monday. When the Immaculate Conception falls on a Sunday, the feast moves to December 9th but the obligation to attend Mass does not move with it.
