Holy Days of Obligation 2008-2009
Apart from Sundays, the following dates are
observed as holy days of obligation. It is expected that parishioners
will participate in the Mass on these special days.

Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord/Christmas
** In the United States the percept to
attend Mass is abrogated whenever the Solemnity of Mary, the
Assumption or All Saints Day falls on a Saturday or a Monday.
When the Immaculate Conception falls on a Sunday, the feast
moves to December 9th but the obligation to attend Mass does
not move with it.
