Celebrate the Year of St. Paul
Catholic Information Center offers fall courses

On June 28, Pope Benedict announced a Jubilee Year dedicated to St. Paul and marking the 2000th anniversary of the apostle’s birth. Beginning in September, the Catholic Information Center will offer a series of courses specifically designed for The Year of St. Paul at its new location in the Cathedral Square Center and On the Road. Resources about St. Paul are also available On the Web. More

Vocations Rally theme reminder that God seeks each of us
Save the date: November 8, 2008


 
All high-school age young people are invited to attend the Diocese of Grand Rapids' inaugural God Persistently Seeking (GPS) Vocations Youth Rally. Young people attending the rally will be encouraged to pray every day asking God to show them in what ways they can serve Him in their lives. The rally will be held at Catholic Central High School (319 Sheldon Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, 49503).

Results for this year's Catholic Services Appeal show 74 of our faith communities already over goal. The full list is scrolling below.

Congratulations to these pastors and leadership teams for your hard work and persistence! Gifts have now been reported by all of our 103 parishes and missions as of June 25th.

Thank you as well to all of our donors for your early generosity! Over 19,000 individuals and families have offered their gifts to date in amounts ranging from $2 to $20,000. The average offering to the appeal is just over $266. A full report and detailed status can be accessed through the adjoining links.
