Diocesan appointment announced

Sister
Sarah Doser, F.S.E., will join the staff of the
Diocese of Grand Rapids as administrative assistant to
the bishop effective August 1, 2008. As she supports the
diocesan bishop in the day-to-day operations of his office,
her responsibilities will include assisting in planning
for meetings of the Cabinet, Diocesan Pastoral Council,
and College of Consultors and other activities. |
Sister Doser, a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist,
is currently the director of the Retreat Program at the Franciscan
Life Process Center outside of Lowell, Mich. Sister joined
the Center staff in August 2006. Before coming to Michigan
she served for thirteen years as the director of admissions
at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies in Marriage
and Family at Catholic University of America in Washington,
DC. She has worked as a nursing home administrator and in
college administration.
Sister Doser holds the following degrees: a Bachelor of Arts
in Theology from Mundelein College – Chicago, Ill.;
a Master of Arts in Theology from the University of St. Michael's
College, University of Toronto – Toronto, Ont.; and
a Master’s in Spirituality from Notre Dame Graduate
School of Christendom College – Front Royal, Va.
