Teaching Position(s)
West Catholic High School is accepting
applications for a teaching position in combined math /
science. The position as posted includes algebra,
geometry (EX certification) and integrated science (DI certification).
The qualified candidate must have the current
State of Michigan secondary certification in the posted
areas, be knowledgeable of the Michigan Merit Curriculum
in the posted subject areas, and comfortable using technology
as part of the learning process. The successful candidate
must be able to work collaboratively with all staff to carry
out the mission of West Catholic High School and be an active
participant in the total improvement program for the school.
He or she must also be familiar with and be able to integrate
Catholic Social Teaching into the curriculum. He or she
must also be of character that models the values of the
Catholic Secondary Schools.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for
early July, 2008.

Studies. The Social Studies position is a possible
full time position; the English position is currently a
fifty percent position.
The qualified candidate must have the current
State of Michigan
Secondary certification in the posted areas,
be knowledgeable of the Michigan Merit Curriculum in the
posted subject area, and comfortable using technology as
part of the learning process. The successful candidate must
be able to work collaboratively with all staff to carry
